There's more beach and surf than you can use in a week, there are international and regular public and club golf courses from just 3 km to 20 km away, numerous Lawn Bowling Clubs, the closest being Coolum Beach Bowling Club some 1.5km from Pandanus, or the great monolith, which is Mt Coolum, is just 3 km away and if you're fit enough you might climb it in around 30 minutes and see forever in any direction!

There are shops, Thai, Indian, Chinese, Cuban and Aussie restaurants, cafes, clubs and bars all within 300-400 metres… strolling distance.

The Sunshine Coast averages seven hours of sunshine daily (one of the highest ratings in the world).

Summer ( December- February), average temperatures range from a minimum of 17ºC to 28ºC, with the highs normally tempered by cooling sea breezes.

Winter (June- August) days are characteristically mild and sunny, with average temperatures from a minimum of 7ºC to a maximum of 22ºC.

Spring ( September- November) and Autumn( March- May) are always popular with visitors as temperatures range comfortably between 13ºC and 25ºC.

Sea temperatures range from about 26ºC in summer to 19ºC in winter.
